It can become so boring and lifeless seeing the same décor in your bedroom, sometimes it is just nice to do a little refresh. Let us look at a few simple ideas that will transform your bedroom without spending too much time and money!
First,
As time goes on it can become very easy to keep items we may not necessarily need anymore. Try going through your bedroom with a garbage bag and throw away any broken items & clothes you do not wear. Give to charity the clothes you have been keeping thinking one day you will wear it again but let us face it, you have been saying that for the past 5 years and it is time to cut them loose!
Therefore, decluttering your room back down to the essentials is a great idea when doing a room makeover. It helps making the styling process easier and provides your room with that fresh new feeling your wanting with absolutely no cost.
Second,
Look at your bedding, buying new linen can freshen up and bring life back to your bedroom. Big suggestion is go for a colour you would not usually choose, do not buy the same old colour theme you have already got. Then when you have chosen your linen, look at adding knitted throws & feature pillows remembering you can never have enough pillows!
When choosing feature pillows go for textures and patterns, this gives your room a feeling of homeliness and comfort as well as ultimate style.
Third,
If your room is hardwood, tiles, or you are not that into the current carpet just add a floor mat. There are so many types of mats to choose from so my suggest is always size up and go fluffy. This will provide warmth, colour and coziness to your room. By adding a mat it is another simple idea with a massive change to the look of your room.

Last tip,
Add greenery to your bedroom this creates a calming oasis for where you sleep, with the added health benefits they bring.
My first favorite plant to have in your room is Peace Lillies, this is such a popular plant because they are seriously gorgeous. It’s said that their moisture can boost your room's humidity by up to five per cent, decreasing airborne microbes that can cause allergies meaning an even more pleasant, nice sleep.
Next is a Boston Fern, they are very low maintenance with a bonus of being a natural air purifying plant.
Health fact - this plant removes more toxic formaldehyde from the atmosphere than any other plant!
Sleep well knowing your giving your body the best possible sleep while also having a beautifuly styled room to look at.
