Avocado Toast with Boiled Egg Recipe

Description: This simple and nutritious recipe makes a delicious breakfast or lunch. The creamy mashed avocado combined with sliced boiled egg and crunchy toast make for a perfect meal that is both filling and healthy.

Ingredients:

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 slice of bread
  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • Pinch of pepper

Instructions:

  1. Fill a small saucepan with water and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, carefully add the egg and cook for 6-7 minutes or until the yolk is cooked to your liking. Remove the egg from the water and let it cool for a few minutes.

  2. While the egg is cooling, put the bread in the toaster and toast it until golden brown.

  3. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a small bowl. Mash the avocado with a fork until it is smooth and creamy.

  4. Once the egg has cooled, peel off the shell and slice it into thin rounds.

  5. Spread the mashed avocado on top of the toast and arrange the sliced egg on top of the avocado.

  6. Sprinkle a pinch of pepper on top of the egg and serve immediately.
